SMAW Welding Basics  
This introductory course in shielded metal arc welding (SMAW/stick-welding), covers topics in AC and DC power sources, welding polarities, heats, and electrodes for use in joining various metal alloys by the arc welding process. Learn running beads, butt, and fillet welds in all positions to test for the AWS SMAW 3G qualification. Includes all instructional materials and AWS qualification testing. Welding shield and jacket are provided. All participants required to attend safety training.
