NCCER Electrical Level 1 (WCG)

NCCER's comprehensive Electrical curriculum complies with Department of Labor (DOL) time-based standards for apprenticeships and helps you prepare for a career as a professional electrician. Through this four-level program, you will develop an understanding of electrical systems in structures, learn how to follow blueprints, and install wiring and other electrical components, such as circuit breaker panels, switches and light fixtures.
 
Electrical Level 1 is an introductory course with foundational content in the following modules: Orientation to the Electrical Trade, Electrical Safety, Introduction to Electrical Circuits, Electrical Theory, Introduction to the National Electrical Code, Device Boxes, Hand Bending, Raceways and Fittings, Conductors and Cables, Basic Electrical Construction Drawings, Residential Electrical Services, and Electrical Test Equipment. Prerequisite/corequisite: NCCER Core Curriculum.
